“A great resource for skillfully guiding at-risk and dyslexic preschoolers on their way to reading success!”

Everything you need to prepare children for reading, writing, and spelling

This user-friendly manual helps transition children from a world of play to the language of reading, and concludes with the introduction of sound/symbol instruction and blending.

The visual, auditory, and kinesthetic channels are thoroughly prepared with specific, play-like activities necessary for ultimate success in learning to read, write, and spell. The manual can be used one-on-one with a child or with a small group, and offers many pages of activities for duplication.

Readiness Workshops

Equip your teachers to meet the curricular challenges of teaching reading to young children

A full-day readiness workshop is offered for teachers, parents, and administrators so that they can understand the preparatory skills necessary for success in reading, writing, and spelling in young children.

Participants learn how to strengthen the visual, auditory, and motor channels by practicing sequentially organized, enjoyable, multi-sensory activities. Attendees will also receive a copy of Readiness for Reading as well as a phonological awareness kit.
